Hello, and welcome to my new space on the interwebz. I know what you’re thinking, “A blog? In 2020?” My 10-year-old son doesn’t even know what a blog is (my answer: it’s a vlog that you read). I understand the strangeness of it all. But, hey, stranger things have happened this year, amirite?

Truthfully, I have always wanted to blog about my love for mod culture and the 1960s but felt awkward about it. I could count on both hands and feet the number of more qualified people to blog about these subjects, so impostor syndrome reared its ugly head. Not to mention the pressure of coming up with blog posts can be anxiety-inducing.

So yeah, those were my obstacles. But I’m over them (I think). I can’t offer expertise; all I am is an enthusiast. But I hope the genuine love I have for this culture shines through. I still don’t know what I’ll be writing about (this could very well turn into a photo-heavy blog), but I hope you stay around, mess and all.
